A parent-and-me class for children ages 15-24 months

Thoughtfully created and led by two language and literacy specialists, this fun and enriching series will benefit both toddlers and their caregivers. It has been consistently proven through research that reading aloud is one of the most important things caregivers and teachers can do to set children up for success in school and beyond. Reading aloud to children from a young age builds vocabulary, promotes conversation, enhances comprehension, supports cognitive development, increases concentration, improves imagination and creativity, and cultivates a lifelong love of reading.

Through this class, your child will learn new vocabulary and be exposed to crucial emerging literacy skills through read-alouds, songs, and multisensory activities. Each week, the instructors will highlight a new strategy for eliciting language, and caregivers will walk away with tons of reading tips!

We offer this class as a 6-10 week series, at various venues — in-home with your friends, at schools for a more structured environment, and more!
